I'm Carol Logan Newbill, and I am the geek half of your brain.
As 2FishWeb Design, I specialize in website design and management, marketing, and promotional help for artists and suppliers related to quilting and fiber arts. But you don't have to be a quilter to need these services — 2FishWeb has also done sites about motorcycle repair and accessories, restaurants, and serial killers.
Because I believe in giving back to good causes, some of my time is dedicated to creating and maintaining discounted and pro bono websites for animal rescue groups and related services.
2FishWeb creates beautiful, usable websites that are optimized for search engines, comply to W3C standards, and just work hard for you. We are small precisely so that we can offer personal service to each of our clients.

The “Geek Half” of My Brain??
Yes! My first design client came to me because she wanted her website redesigned and a shopping cart integrated. Although she was an excellent businesswoman and knew how to sell her products, she didn't have time or inclination to do the day-in, day-out technical stuff required for managing a website. She needed someone who understood her business — supplies for textile artists — and also deeply understood and could handle the "geek stuff." Together we make a great team, like the left and right halves of a brain.
Since then, I've become the other half of the brain for dozens of happy clients, many of whom could do it all themselves; all of whom are happy to let me handle the technical stuff so they can do what they do best.
Why “2Fish” Web Design?
I incorporated my business as Pisces Moon Studio LLC, only to discover that people had a hard time with the word "Pisces." I kept getting phone calls asking for "Pieces of the Moon Studio." Nobody knew how to spell it. When people stumbled over "Pisces" I started just saying "Two Fish." Shortly thereafter I registered 2FishWeb.com.
2FishWeb.com:
Eight letters (plus the dot com).
Easy to spell.
A heck of a lot shorter to type than "piscesmoonwebdesignllc.com."
That's all there is to it!
On other pages, you say “we”. How big is your company?
I am the principal partner and sole full-time employee. I choose to remain small precisely so that I can offer personal service to each of my clients. I have an arrangement with a local colleague to provide backup in case I am away on vacation, and I have access to competent freelance assistants to help during crunch periods.
Rest assured, though, that your site is safe and in secure hands at all times. I guarantee it.
Why "we?" When I write about me, as Carol Logan Newbill, I write in first person singular. When I write as a representative of 2FishWeb, I generally write "we" to indicate that professional responsibility. Also, I doubt you want to hear about me all the time — you want to hear how your problems are going to be solved.
